Implementation of the Week

• Sales Profitability Reporting via FIFO Data with Inventory and Analytics
  • While it is possible to easily calculate profitability using your default Item Cost listed in Books/Inventory, oftentimes purchase prices vary per purchase
  • Zoho Inventory’s Analytics connector enables tracking of all stock in/out flows, along with a FIFO mapping table connecting the two
  • Using custom SQL queries, data can be reformatted to display cost per invoice based on the purchase price of the specific stock items sold on the invoice (assuming you are selling the first items you purchased first)
