  • A new role has been added: Organization Administrators 
    • Organization Administrators are users who have access to all the workspaces in the Organization, and can perform all the operations inside the Organization, except deleting and renaming an Organization; and adding, activating, and deactivating other Organization Administrators.
    • But… not yet rolled out to Zoho One Users.
• Zoho CRM Updates
  • Updates in Email and Inventory templates
    • Cloning across modules
    • Setting a default font
    • View individual tax percentage in Inventory Templates
  • New Customization options in the module builder: 
    • Quick Create
    • Detail view
• Zoho Recruit gets a new and improved Candidate Portal
  • Candidates can now apply for jobs without having an account in your candidate portal.

Implementation of the Week

• Bond payout calculator in Zoho CRM custom module
  • Fields filled out in record for a bond term, interest rate, principal investment, purchase date, and maturity date
  • The button is pressed in the record to trigger a Deluge script
  • The script calculates the monthly payout amount, and payout dates and writes a line into a subform for each payment
  • These subform lines can then be marked as “Paid” upon receiving the payout, and are pulled into CRM reports to forecast incoming cash flow
