Executive Summary
MADE Apparel Services, situated in Seattle and operated by a sole proprietor, assists emerging designers, entrepreneurs, makers, and inventors in transforming sewn product ideas into manufacturable items. They specialize in creating sewing patterns, prototyping samples, and crafting comprehensive tech packs, employing a step-by-step approach that enables our clients to progress at their own pace and within their budget.
The Challenge
MADE Apparel Services, while thriving under single ownership, faced a fragmented operational workflow due to reliance on multiple platforms. The absence of comprehensive automation, despite extensive use of third-party integration tools like Zapier, frequently led to disruptions. Such interruptions were often the result of platform updates that temporarily misaligned the automation functionalities. As the client base expanded, the need for an efficient Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system became apparent, highlighting the insufficiency of piecing together separate platforms to manage the business’s growing demands. This realization prompted the search for a unified software solution capable of streamlining operations comprehensively.
The selection of Zoho One marked a pivotal turn in addressing these operational challenges. However, the intricacies involved in integrating various modules to suit a highly specialized workflow underscored a gap in expertise and knowledge. This is where the Zenatta team came into the picture, leveraging our proficiency to not only bridge this gap but also enhance the existing automations. Our collaborative efforts with MADE Apparel Services have significantly expedited their processes and elevated the professionalism of their brand, which they had been striving to achieve independently.
Implementation
Though the implementations with MADE Apparel Services are still ongoing, our implementation strategy has encompassed a seamless transition from Zoho Bookings to Project initiation and client engagement. We introduced a series of automations, beginning with contact information captured from the booking form, followed by financial estimates for prospective clients. Upon approval, service agreements and retainer invoices were issued, triggering project creation in Zoho Projects upon payment. This comprehensive approach also integrated campaign management, deposit logic, and calendar synchronization, among other features.
