• Zoho CRM Will Now Require “CRM Users” First Name As A Mandatory Field

  • This is a bit of a rambling post.   But the bottom line is the when you set up a New CRM User, you will be required to fill in the “First Name” field.

• Zoho TransMail Leaves Beta and Goes Live

  • We talked about this on July 11, 2018, on Episode 1 of the CRM Zen Show, and now 28 months later, it is here.

  • TransMail routes Transactional emails. Transactional emails are unique, automated emails like order confirmations that are triggered by your users, often time-sensitive, and contain crucial information.

  • 45 of Zoho’s existing Applications currently use TransMail.

• Zoho Marketplace for Zoho CRM Passes the 500 Extension Mark

  • The marketplace has exploded in the last year.

• Zoho Campaigns Instant Sync for CRM Accounts has been Disabled

  • Zoho recently identified that the option ‘Fetch Accounts Fields’ in Zoho Campaigns Instant Sync was not working.  So we’re forced to remove it for any new syncs.

  • Not quite sure we get that logic.  But we thought you should know.

• Zoho CRM iOS Mobile App Dashboard (Analytics) Update

  • Zoho has revamped the Analytics /Dashboards module in appearance and functionality. It now provides a complete overview of the sales process.

Implementation of the Week

• CRM-Desk Integration to submit deployment/change requests via CRM actions

  • Custom module related to Accounts module to store products/services purchased by a customer Account

  • When additions/edits are made to this list, data is rolled up at Account level and submitted via function to Desk to notify technical team of required updates

  • This automates the hand-off from sales to implementation teams and limits necessary communication to begin change process
