- By toggling the Do Not Allow Duplicate Values feature you can turn a field into a Unique ID.
- This prevents anyone in your company using the CRM from creating the same record twice.

- How to Dedup
- Go to the Module you wish to check for duplicates i.e. Accounts/Leads/Deals/Contacts
- On the upper right side of the screen click on the . . .
- Choose Deduplicate <MODULE NAME>
- Then select the fields you wish to check for duplicates
- Once selected click Find and Merge Duplicates
- The Value of Clean Data
- Having data in the wrong location can be both time consuming and cost your company money by unnecessary mistakes caused by having 2 of the same record.
