  • We talked about this on the show two weeks ago.  This is a nice overview of the new Catalyst Developer Platform.

• Changes to Zoho CRM Data Enrichment – Moving to Zia
  • The title of this article is a bit misleading “Zia Data Enrichment is not supported in Marketplace”. It has just moved to a new location under Zia in the CRM and is now built-in without to need to add from the Marketplace.
• Analytics Updates
  • The major update here is the Data Snapshot feature. This allows you to capture and maintain historical data from a report. So you can capture a moment in time and freeze the data for future reference.  
• New UI Updates in Zoho Inventory
  • This brings it in line with the other finance applications and splits the Contacts module into Customers and Vendors

Notable Mobile Updates

• Zoho Connect – Now has Survey Integration
  • Very cool feature.  We hope this comes to the desktop version soon.
• Zoho Social – Rearrange images in the compose window.
  • It makes creating a post much easier.
• Bug Fixes for many other applications
  • About a dozen or so applications got general bug and stability fixes this week.

Implementation of the Week

• This is an implementation we did for a client using Formstack Documents (formerly webmerge) for automatically filling out tax documentation.
  • Relevant information captured via Zoho Survey and stored in a Contact record
  • Formstack Document data-routing feature used to automatically generate, and send multiple tax documents for signature via Zoho Sign

Things We Noticed

• CRM Custom Module – Make Default Name an Auto Number
  • Not sure this is new.  But if it isn’t then, we somehow have all missed this for the last 7 years.
