Implementation of the Week
- CRM Outreach Automation based on Web Visit Data
- After a web-visitor has been connected to their CRM Lead/Contact record, each subsequent visit updates their Visitor Summary data within CRM.
- This Visit Summary includes the page visited, as well as the date/time of that visit.
- Using CRM workflows, we built out auto-generated communications based on this most recent visit date/time, and the page visited.

- Custom Lead Conversion
- In CRM, Leads are a sort of unqualified record that can become a Contact, Account, and Deal at a press of a button (if you set your Lead Conversion Mapping right ?)!
- This is standard practice and converting leads is an important part of the Sales process.
- The issue is that, sometimes, just the Contact, Account, and Deal aren’t enough! You might need to create a record on a custom module or even create two contacts from the same lead record, for example.
- This code is an example of that – converts that lead into a Contact, Account, and Deal using the standard Lead Conversion Mapping and also an Additional Contact record associated with the contact that was converted from the lead.
