  • This has been around for a little while now in Zoho One, but for all of you CRM Plus users, you now also have this feature.

Implementation of the Week

• Zoho Creator // “Like” button for providing user feedback
  • In this implementation, we were working within a Creator app that is largely driven by “Comment” records
  • There is a lot of unstructured data that needs to be captured, and users don’t always know which ones of their Comments made an impact on the ability to move their process forward
  • Using a Custom HTML field, the team created a “Like Comment” button that can be used on each Comment, where the admin team can provide instant feedback on which Comments were most useful
  • This button runs a tally for the Comment and sends an email to the original Commentor, letting them know their work was appreciated

Code Share of the Week

• Using Zoho Maps to manipulate Geo data
  • If you’ve ever needed to manipulate geographic data like addresses and coordinates to calculate distance between two points, such as mapping stores closer to specific customers and things like that. All this can be done without using third-party services, simply using built-in functions. and that’s what we’ll see next.
