Implementation of the Week

• Mail Merge Tabular Data Conversion to Dynamic Length Bulleted List
  • In CRM and/or Creator records, data can be tracked as subforms
  • Subforms give the user a way to create a list of data contained within a primary record (ex: Products on a Deal)
  • In this case, we wanted to merge this data into a PDF document as a bulleted list, however, the length of the list can vary significantly
  • By using a dynamic table in Writer, with a full-page background image, we developed a method to merge in as many rows as necessary, where the containing page will duplicate itself dynamically to continue the list

• Calling and Updating CRM Global Variables
