• It is finally here… Rich Text Fields for Zoho CRM (But Not In The USA…)
  • This has been one of the most requested features since the launch of CRM.  For those not in the US/India, you can request early access.  The rest of us will have to wait just a bit longer.
• Zoho CRM Webform Enhancements
  • These enhancements already existed in Zoho Forms, and they have now made a couple of useful features available for CRM Webforms. 
• Canvas January’24 Enhancements
  • You can now customize the look and feel of a related list and add subtabs for enhanced organization.
• Bigin List View Enhancements
  • Add, rename, and edit fields on the fly directly in the views now.
• Zoho Sign Adds Dynamic KBA for Recipient Authentication
  • This is a major feature addition to Zoho Sign, allowing organizations to have that extra layer of signer verification many sectors need.
• Zoho Connect Updates Notification Email Addresses
  • Notification emails in Connect will now come from “notify@” instead of “noreply@”.

Implementation of the Week

• Custom Button in Zoho CRM to Invite Contact to Zoom Meeting
  • In this implementation, our goal was to create a workflow that enabled our client to easily create a Zoom link and send it to their client during a phone call
  • The use case for this is that there are times when, in order to help the inbound caller, our client needs to see video or a screenshare of the issue we’re hoping to solve
  • To accomplish this, we first made a connection to Zoom such that we can invoke their Meetings API. This allows us to dynamically create a Meeting room with unique URL via Deluge
  • Then, we store that meeting URL back within the CRM record, and send it out via email and/or SMS to the Contact
  • Lastly, the button runs an openURL on the link, so that it is automatically launched at the same time it is sent to the customer
