Implementation of the Week
- Advanced E-Commerce integration to CRM for Course Registration Sales
- In this implementation, we had two primary goals. We needed to both integrate e-commerce checkouts to the CRM Sales Order module, as well as map a subset of that data into Course Registration data
- To accomplish this, we first set up a standard WooCommerce integration to the Sales Order module
- When the Sales Order is created, we reference the line item data to determine which Items correspond to Course sales
- Then, we create that Course Registration record in the CRM for that user so that we are able to track Course Registrations over time for a specific user
Code Share of the Week
- Efficient Workload Distribution: Establishing a Round Robin Assignment Rule in Zoho CRM for Custom User Lookup Fields
- Task distribution is a crucial aspect of maintaining effective business operations and ensuring equal workload distribution among team members.
- While Zoho CRM’s assignment rules are great for auto-assigning record owners, they don’t extend to custom user lookup fields.
- Fortunately, Zoho CRM is flexible enough to allow for customization using the Deluge scripting language and CRM Variables.
- The round-robin rule can be adapted to your custom requirements, such as different fields, roles, and triggers.
- For this example, we’ll create a rule that assigns a new user for any record that meets a particular condition – let’s say, when an opportunity reaches a certain stage. However, the principles can be applied to your specific CRM customization needs.
- Reordering Tags in Zoho CRM Records
- This codeshare is a response to a question we had in Club Zenatta by Beat Z. Beat Z had asked Zoho support for a solution on this, and they responded by saying that it wasn’t possible. Hector from our team thought otherwise and proved them wrong!
