  • Chase this week decided to stop bank feeds to Zoho Book until their software is updated which Zoho uses Yodlee.  If you use Chase you will need to manually insert your feeds.  All we know is that they are actively working on fixing it.
• Zoho Mail Gets a Stylish UI Revamp
  • Overall great UI improvements and for all you dark mode users out there it is now built into Mail.
• Zoho Campaigns Mobile App Gets a Makeover
  • We can’t imagine building a campaign out on a phone, but maybe a tablet?
• Zoho Cliq Adds Scheduled Messages
  • Tested, works, and is great for all of us that work odd hours or in different time zones.
• Zoho Recruit Recognized as Best Recruitment Software by Forbes
  • Shoutout to Zoho for this award.  Voted the best for staffing agency recruitment software.
• Zoho Analytics Google AdWords Integration API Update
  • Google recently updated its API and Analytics was quick to respond.

  • Another nice new feature bringing everything you need to do for a social post under one roof.

  • Zoho Shifts is its own stand-alone product that came out last summer.  It is now included with Workerly.

Implementation of the Week

• Automated Project Generation via CRM Workflow and Custom Module
  • Oftentimes, we set up the CRM to auto-create Projects in specific Templates based on CRM Deal data
  • However, sometimes, the rules to select Templates are more complicated
  • In this case, the team built a custom module lining up Products with additional conditions per product (each Product could require a different Template, based on other Deal conditions)
  • On Deal update to Closed Won, related Products collected via function and compared to custom “Project Rules” module
  • Function runs in a pre-defined hierarchy to determine Project Template required

Code Share of the Week

• Bulk Update Records in the CRM
  • Since Zoho now counts functions towards API calls, here is a way to be more conscious about the way your code is structured.
