  • Here are the eWidget add-ons:
    • Mail Merge eWidget extension helps you send personalized messages to a group of people all at once.
    • Zoho Showtime extension, you can create and manage your face-to-face and remote sessions directly from Zoho Mail.
    • Coming soon! Using ServiceDesk Plus as your IT help desk software? You can soon create, view, or manage SDP requests without leaving your Zoho Mail inbox.
• Zoho Sheet Adds 4 New Functions, Email as Attachment, and Password Protection
  • Here are the 4 new functions added:
    • LET function assigns names to calculation results and helps you handle multiple computed variables easily, all in the same function.
    • Use the =IMAGE() function to insert images into cells
    • SPLIT is an opposite of functions like TEXTJOIN and CONCATENATE, meaning it a divorce, not a marriage.
    • With your functions nested inside an IFNA function, you can specify what you want to be displayed as the result if the nested function hits an NA error.
  • Zoho Sheet adds a few nice new features:
    • You can now send your current spreadsheet as an email attachment in your preferred file format, with a custom message and password protection, directly from the Sheet spreadsheet editor.
    • You can now password protect downloaded Sheet files
    • Properties section added to Sheet containing general information of the spreadsheet

Implementation of the Week

• Zoho Desk and Projects Composite Reporting via Zoho Analytics
  • Action items and time tracking is oftentimes split between implementation work (Projects) and Support work (Desk)
  • Reporting within each individual app excludes data from the other
  • Analytics can be used as a central database for the two applications
  • SQL tables created to consolidate Desk/Projects Action Items and Time Billings into master tables for reporting on one dashboard
